Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that returns results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to answer you.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our hosting system creates ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the service and learn which pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How the Data Is Used
These limited data help us run the service, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
This site links to government portals, county and state records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and data you submit there is governed by their rules, not ours. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Rights to access, correct, or delete website data depend on the law that applies to you. Washington has no general consumer privacy act, while the My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, creates rights for covered personal health data. We can check our contact mailbox and available server logs for a request made through the Contact page. Public records held by Bremerton, Kitsap County, or Washington offices remain outside our control and must be addressed with the custodian.
Updates to This Policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
